Case IH 7140

It's simple. If we can't guarantee it, we don't sell it.

We constantly strive to keep our inventory as new and up-to-date as humanly possible. While many yards specialize in only burnt equipment, we encourage them to go right ahead. At Nyssa Tractor & Implement, when an occasional burn comes along, all the fire damage is discarded. The machine is dismantled and only good parts are put on the shelf. We never try to resell heat or smoke damaged or distorted pieces, nor do we believe in half-breeding - simply putting two tractors together to make a complete one. We do not believe that is good business.

Gary says treat people the way you would like to be treated.

Commonly asked questions

Where did the name Nyssa come from?
The story goes like this; When the railroad came through the county the first thing they did was build a set of stock shipping pens. They were constructed by the New York Stock Shipper Association. The first letter in each word spells NYSSA, thus the name of the town.

Do you still conduct auction sales?
Yes, Sparks Auction is still alive and well. Steven and John have a very strong desire to continue the three generation family tradition, however time is of the utmost importance at Nyssa Tractor. Therefore, we have a joint venture with Pickett Auction Service in Greenleaf, Idaho and together we conduct internet auctions. It's a proven fact internet sales produce more gross receipts then live auctions. With considerably lower commission rates, a seller will find themselves with more money than they ever thought possible and with less hassle. It's very very easy.

Where does all this stuff come from?
Mostly from dealers within a 1000 mile radius of Nyssa, Oregon.
Gary works very closely with almost every franchise dealer and their sales people to find quality machines. Many times a franchise dealer will have an opportunity to trade for a piece of machinery that is not his color or flavor with no desire to sell it to his customers so the deal used to end there. But now with a simple phone call to Gary with a short description, a cash offer will be made he then can trade on that piece with a guarantee cash trade-in allowance. Bingo done deal and we even pick him up at the ranch.

How do you keep track of all this stuff?
That, my friend, is a work in progress!!
